Sister Tammy Wise Update ***

October 28, 2016: Sister Tammy spent five days in the hospital with a bad kidney infection and lung infection. She ws discharged on Friday October 28 and new tests show that thre is no evidence of any brain tumor and no brain procedure needed; truly a miracle indeed. There was also no indication of anything in her lungs. We continue to pray for better days.

Sister Tammy saw doctors on Thursday, October 20, 2016, and she was told she had a small brain lesion and recommended pinpoint radiation surgery. This is a fairly new procedure called Gamma Knife surgery and has proved to have a good success rate. She will go to Memphis where special equipment and expertise is available to perform this procedure. It should pinpoint the specific area and not affect surrounded tissue. We pray for success and God’s healing hand.–October 16, 2016

Note Correction Of Date on Prior Post:

Sister Tammy Wise had a seizure over this past weekend Oct. 1-2 and had to be hospitalized for a day or so and Doctors found she has a tumor on the brain. Plans as we understand now are to have further tests next Tuesday, October 11, in the form of a CT scan and a body scan to see the extent of the tumor and if there is any further cancer in her body. Depending on the results, decision will be made as to proper medical course to pursue.

It may be that a special machine can be used to give chemo that is pinpoint administration to a specific area rather than over the entire body. In any case, much prayer is needed that God once again may provide his miraculous healing hand. Sister Tammy is weak from all the other treatments she has endured and now this next trauma lies ahead. May God give grace, strength and the touch of the Master’s hand to this dear Sister and her husband, Brother Barry Wise. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (Ephesians 3:20). The scripture teaches that there is nothing too hard for the Lord so may we all continue to pray that God’s will to be done as no physical condition is beyond His ability to heal and bless physicians to a proper course of treatment that He would see fit to bless.

Our lives are made up of many hills and valleys and sometimes it may seem that the valleys outnumber the hills. But remember there is the Lily of the Valley and the Rose of Sharon and His name Is Jesus Christ. He knows our sorrows and is touched with what happens on the hills or in the valleys. ” For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”–October 6, 2016–Elder Larry Wise
