Once again the Lord richly blessed Bethany with an outstanding Spirit-filled meeting the second weekend in September 2023 (Sept. 8-10). Elder Charles Kitchens, Jasper, AL was blessed to preach 2 messages on Friday night Sept. 8 on “Salvation is of God from beginning to end” and Saturday morning Sept. 9 on “Two great Commandments” and both involving love. We had fairly large congregations for both Friday night and Saturday morning services. We had a good fish lunch prepared by Gene York and many other dishes by the Sisters of the church and other churches. Sunday finished the meeting with another good service and lunch but not with the number of people as Friday night and Saturday. Below are a few scenes from the meeting:
