Well, it took almost ten months, but Bethany was blessed this day, October 21, 2012 to have Sister Tammy Wise’s young daughter, Caleigh, come forward desiring baptism and a home with Bethany. She was graciously and joyfully received on forthcoming baptism. She will be received as a full member of the church with all the blessing thereof after being baptized, Lord willing, on Sunday, October 28, 2012. This is something she had been talking about for quite some time with her mother and possibly others. She had told her mother she had heard that still small voice and needed to be baptized. God works with the young as well as the old and with His children of all ages. Solomon said, “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;” (Eccl. 12:1). Jesus said, “…Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” (Mark 10:14). We pray that more might follow the leading of the Spirit and follow the Lord in baptism and experience the blessings God has in store for them.–October 21, 2012–Elder Larry Wise
