Special Prayer Request

Tammy Wise

Please be in fervent prayer for Sister Tammy Wise. Her husband, Brother Barry Wise, reports that tests have shown the return of cancer in her lungs with small nodules in both lungs. Oncologist wants to start six weeks minimum chemo treatment immediately. Sister Tammie trying to decide to best course to pursue. This in addition to another severe health issue of spine fractures. She was taken to the ER on 10-18-2015 with severe pain in her back and difficulty breathing. The spine fractures were discovered and she had a spinal fusion for two of the fractures on Monday, Nov. 2, to help relieve the pain in her back. She was to do the other two later. The difficulty in breathing continued to persist and further tests revealed the cancer nodules in the lungs. Evidently that was the reason for the difficulty in breathing.

Please pray for wisdom in choosing the right course of treatment and for God’s healing hand to once again prevail as she had been cancer free for quite some time and had started a new job until these problems developed. We pray for relief of the pain caused by the fractures and for the cancer to be put in remission and breathing to return to normal. “ Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.” (James 5:16-18).

Please pray also for her husband, Brother Barry Wise, and her daughter, Sister Caleigh Coleman, as they stand by her during this latest struggle. God’s ears are always open to the prayers of the saints. “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: ” (I Peter 3:12)–November 3, 2015–Elder Larry Wise
